the physical body represents the most tangible aspect of ourselves – the physical body. This body represents everything we take in through our senses – what we see, smell. taste, touch and feel. It is our connection to the outside world.
the breath body represents prana or qi- the vital life force that governs our biological processes from circulation, respiration, digestion and elimination. The flow of prana ensures the processes function well. The obstruction of flow leads to dis-ease.
the mind body is responsible for reacting and responding to what we experience in our physical and subtle bodies. Built in patterns determine our reactions. Through awareness and concentration practices, we work consciously to create new patterns resulting in mindful reactions.
the wisdom body represents the deep inner wisdom that enables us to live from a place of ‘knowing’. This encompasses our ability too love, choose, forgive and evolve. Brahm Gyan is the door to access the deeper inner wisdom.
the bliss body represents the state of an individual who is living their true self. One who has pierced through the illusion and well on their way to liberation. It is them in true essence that live a life of bliss. Making ananda/bliss a living part of our daily experience is possible for all.

According to Ancient Vedas these 5 bodies make up our existence. We have been in tune with our physical body since birth. But it has taken us human beings ages to realize the importance of the breath/energy body. And more recently since mental health has been declining, we started to nourish our mental body.
What if you were told you have been evolving slowly in the reverse direction?
Looking at the images above, the bliss body is the core of our existence, and the physical body is the most external layer of our being. We have been nourishing from outside in. For example, for a healthy fruit we must take care of the seed, just oiling the skin to make it shine and look appealing won’t change the taste of the fruit. Therefore, to have a delicious fruit we must take care of the seed. Similarly, to experience eternal Bliss within we need to take care of the seed which is the Atman and it will have a ripple effect so we can live in harmony and have a healthy holistic existence.
